The Alumni Big Event

The Big Event is Virginia Tech’s largest community service event and all alumni chapters are invited to participate!  10,000 students, alumni, and volunteers complete nearly 1,200 projects across the New River Valley!

Again this year, we are encouraging all alumni chapters to participate in an “extended campus” version of the Big Event.

Interested in Sponsorship?

Each year, the event costs about $50,000 to host (covering tools, promotional materials, productions, logistical items, t-shirts etc.) and while we have several local and corporate sponsors, we are always looking for additional sponsors. If you are interesting in donating to our cause, please visit our donate page or email fundraising@vtbigevent.org if your company is interested in sponsorship.
